CSCI 232 - Intermediate Data Structures and Algorithms
Offered Fall. Prerequisite: CSCI 152 or consent of instructor. Introduction to essential data structures and the algorithms that accompany them. These fundamentals will serve as valuable building blocks for the remainder of your career as a computer scientist.
CSCI 460 (U/G) - Operating Systems
Offered Spring. Prerequisite: CSCI 232 or consent of instructor. Introduction to important concepts in operating systems, covering key aspects of how an operating system functions on a modern computer.
CSCI 461/561 - Internet of Things
Offered intermittently. Prerequisite: CSCI 232 or consent of instructor. Introduction to state-of-the-art IoT/Mobile computing systems. Every topic begins from first principles and gradually ramps up to the system design and application, helping students to understand the state-of-the-art developments in this area and initiate research.
CSCI 455/556 - Embedded Systems
Offered intermittently. Prerequisite: CSCI 232 or consent of instructor. Introduction to the design, implementation, and evaluation of embedded systems. In this class, the students will have the opportunity to walk through all the theoretical and hardware components and have the capability to get hands-on experience from a series of mini labs and a project by the end of the semester.
